3-year environmental activity program from FY2013 through FY2015

Establishment of “Environmental Protection Program Stage VII”

Fujitsu General Group started the “Environmental Protection Program Stage VI” in FY2010 setting the goals with the theme of “Strengthening global environment conservation activities” and achieved the goals of activities including the completion of acquisition of ISO14001 at all the domestic and overseas business bases.

In order to tackle higher goals and further strengthen our environmental activities, we established the “Environmental Protection Program Stage VII” for 3 years from FY2013 through FY2015 based on the results of the activities in the Stage VI.

In this program, we are positively promoting the strengthening of environmental regulations including the reinforcement of the energy conservation standard in various countries of the world and focusing on the sales expansion of Green Products(*1) (more than 4 times of FY2012), development of environmentally-friendly technologies and development of Super Green Products(*2) (more than 30% of newly developed models).

Also, we will push forward the environmental activity coordinating the vector between business activity and environmental activity by unifying the base year of the target value and improvement index(*3), adopting new environmental management index converting negative cost (wastes generated in performing business) to CO2 and strengthening environmental management framework.

Furthermore, we will continue to promote the biodiversity conservation activity including the operation of the biotope(*4) constructed in Hamamatsu Office in March, 2013.
