Winning "Most Efficient Air Conditioning Unit as at 30 November 2007" Award as a top energy-saving air conditioner in Australia Split inverter air conditioner "ASTB09LDC"

On 21 April 2008, our split type inverter air conditioner "ASTB09LDC" received "Most Efficient Air Conditioning Unit as at 30 November 2007" Award as the model was recognized as top^(*1) energy-saving performance (EER4.252 at cooling operation) among all split type air conditioners distributed in Australia.
"Most Efficient Air Conditioning Unit as at 30 November 2007" Award which was established this year is one of the "COOLworld Industry Awards 2008" sponsored by Australian air conditioner magazine "Climate Control News (CCN)".

In "COOLworld Industry Awards 2008", in order to enhance continuous and stable environmental contribution awareness, 12 awards for each business category are granted to business owners and individuals who run air conditioner business in Australia. Among 12 awards, the "Most Efficient Air Conditioning Unit as at 30 November 2007" Award is given to the product of the most excellent energy-saving performance as at 30 November 2007 which is selected by Australian Government from among the split type air conditioners sold in Australia and the only award granted by Australian Government.

At present, for selling air conditioners in Australia, it is obliged to clear the energy-saving standard set according to product type and capacity by "Minimum Energy Performance Standard" (generally called "MEPS"). Furthermore, the Energy Rating Labeling System is adopted, in which notation of energy consumption efficiency is obliged for each of cooling operation and heating operation.
The award-winning product "ASTB09LDC" has not only achieved MEPS but also acquired the highest 6 star recognition in the Energy Rating Labeling System together with cooling operation and heating operation.
