Important Announcement to all Fujitsu Dealers and CustomersStatement from Fujitsu General UKOn December 27th 2007, the Board of Directors of Fujitsu General Limited, Japan announced that it will end worldwide production of plasma and LCD screens by the end of March 2008. Fujitsu General will continue to operate a UK headquarters for warranty, service and technical support operations throughout 2008 and beyond to look after existing Fujitsu display customers in the UK and Europe. Plasma and LCD sales and marketing operations will cease to operate at the end of March 2008, and Fujitsu's sales account managers will be in touch with retailers in due course to explain this decision. Over the last few years Fujitsu's focus on high-end, custom-install displays has helped the company build a loyal base of retailers and customers. Naturally we are all disappointed that Fujitsu General has taken the decision to withdraw from the display business, however I want to assure our customers and retailers that the company is committed to doing what's best while we close down sales and marketing operations. Fujitsu Plasmavision UK has always prided itself on providing top class customer service and technical support, and the company will honour all existing warranties and provide product support and accessories for the foreseeable future.
