New release of multi air conditioning system “AIRSTAGE™ ” J-II series for overseas market

Enriching multi air conditioning system product lineup
for expansion of air conditioner business

Our company will release multi air conditioning system “AIRSTAGE™ ” J-II series (11.2 / 14.0 / 15.5kW) for Europe, Australia and China sequentially from September 10 aiming to expand air conditioner business by enriching the product lineup of multi air conditioning system.

The multi air conditioning system is used for wide range of application from individual houses to offices and hotels, and variety of performances and functions such as high energy-saving performance, workability of installation, centralized control function are required.

In order to respond to such needs, our company developed multi air conditioning system connectable with up to 9 rooms realizing top class energy-saving performance and excellent workability of installation.

The new series realized top class energy-saving performance in each class by reviewing the structure of outdoor unit and adopting advanced technologies such as large-size multi-path heat exchanger, high output power DC twin rotary compressor and at the same time enhanced the basic performance including 33%(*1) improvement in heating capacity compared with our conventional models and substantial low noise operation by adopting large aperture fan.

Also, the workability of installation and maintenance have improved by adopting long piping designing with the maximum total pipe length extended to 180m and easier maintenance of piping pullout opening and main components.

Furthermore, efficient installation and designing are possible when installing in combination with our company's multi air conditioning system for buildings “AIRSTAGE™ ” V-II series as the indoor units and peripheral equipment were so designed to be used commonly.

By the development of enriched product lineup this time, we will provide customers with comfortable space with higher air quality responding to diverse needs for housing and commercial application.

1. Top class energy-saving performance and comfort

Energy-saving performance

The new series not only cleared the energy conservation regulations in various markets but also realized top class energy-saving performance in each class by reviewing the structure of outdoor unit and adopting advanced technologies such as DC inverter control, DC fan motor, large-size multi-path heat exchanger, high output power DC twin rotary compressor.

“Advanced technologies producing high efficiency” [Large-size propeller fan]-Realizing high performance and low noise operation by large-size fan and optimized angle.[DC fan motor]-Adopting downsized DC fan motor of low noise, high efficiency and multi-stage control.[Large-size heat exchanger]-Substantial improvement of heat exchange efficiency by adopting triple-row high density multi path heat exchanger.[DC inverter control]-Efficiency improvement by adopting new type filter module.[Sub cool heat exchanger]-Improving cooling capacity and realizing high cooling capacity even at high outside temperature by adopting double-tube heat exchanger.[DC twin rotary compressor]-Adopting DC twin rotary compressor with high seasonal efficiency.

Heating capacity

Heating operation at outside temperature -20°C was made possible and heating capacity at low outside temperature was improved by 33%(*1) compared with our conventional models by high output power DC twin rotary compressor enhancing comfort.

Low noise designing

Low noise operation was realized by combining two air blowing fans of large apertureØ515mm so that installation became available even at the veranda of condominium or in the yard of individual house where noise is annoying. Also, when big capacity is not required, the number of rotation of compressor and fan is suppressed by “low noise mode” and operation noise can be reduced by about 5dB compared with normal operation to allow comfortable use even where noise is annoying.

Low noise mode: At night or in the environment where noise regulation is strict, the low noise mode can be selected. Low noise mode can be reduced from 5db to 6db compared with rated noise value.


New development of air blowout louver for indoor unit (duct)

In the conventional louver, the air direction was changed manually, but in the newly developed louver, the air direction can be changed automatically according to the contents of operation enhancing comfort. Also, when not in operation, the air blowoff opening is hidden making indoor unit look smart.

2. Excellent workability of installation

Connectable with up to 9 indoor units

The connection with up to 9 indoor units was made possible by adopting the same system of distributing refrigerant as multi air conditioning system for buildings. It is suitable for the buildings with many small rooms such as business hotels.

11.2kW Type, Connectable with up to 6 indoor units. 14.0kW Type, Connectable with up to 8 indoor units. 15.5kW Type, Connectable with up to 9 indoor units.

Improving designing flexibility by long piping designing

The maximum total pipe length was extended to 180m. By making the height difference between outdoor unit and indoor unit maximum 30m, the designing flexibility was substantially improved.

Maximum pipe length 120m. Pipe length from first branch pipe to most remote indoor unit maximum 40m. Height difference between outdoor unit and indoor unit maximum 30m. Height difference between outdoor unit and indoor unit maximum 15m. Total pipe length maximum 180m.


Piping pullout opening for 4 directions and large front panel to allow installation to narrow space

By arranging piping pullout opening for 4 directions, the piping to match the installation position is possible. Also, by adopting large-size panel at the front, the installation or maintenance from the front is made possible allowing to install multiple outdoor units adjacently.

Monitor display function to easily check various information when installing, inspecting and trouble shooting.

Various information can be checked easily by monitor display function to display in real time the installation status such as connectable quantity of indoor units, wiring, setting, the operation status such as number of rotation of compressor in operation, temperature and pressure of various components during checking and error indication when trouble happened.

7 segment LED. Movable board for easy maintenance. Easy service work for the back side of board.


3. Variety of operation control functions

Centralized remote control system easy to view and control even for small scale property

Centralized remote controller to control easily from several sets up to 100 sets of indoor units was developed. According to the quantity of indoor units to control, the screen display can be switched. Simple and easy-to-view control and operating environment for the control of several units for condominium up to the control for small and medium scale of office buildings are made available.

In case of small quantity of connection, the display of each room becomes large and easy to view.

Central control system to control centrally together with our multi air conditioning system for buildings

The central control system for our multi air conditioning system for buildings can be connected and used as it is. In case of installation in combination with the same system for large scale office buildings and complex buildings, efficient installation and designing can be made.
