Realizing industry's top(*1) energy-saving performance

Releasing large-size duct inverter air conditioners for Australia

Details

Our company released large-size duct inverter air conditioners realizing industry's top(*1) energy-saving performance for Australia at the end of January and, at the same time, released 20kW type model with industry's top class(*2) energy-saving performance, by which our product lineup has been strengthened.

Regarding home-use air conditioners in Australia, large-size duct air conditioners in which air conditioning of all rooms is made by one indoor unit is dominant along with usual wall-mounted air conditioners of individual air conditioning system.

On the other hand, in Australia, strict energy-saving performance is required for large-size air conditioners, as well as small-size, by the MEPS(*3) regulations obliging manufacturers to improve energy-saving performance of electrical goods.

Our company has been tackling the enhancement of energy-saving performance of large-size duct air conditioners and realized the industry's top(*1) energy-saving performance (EER 3.20 at cooling / COP 3.40 at heating ) by our original technology and at the same time, developed new models improving installation efficiency by the smallest(*4) installation area.

The new models, equipped with the industry's first(*5) DC fan motor, are adopting the heat exchanger of large capacity and the housing of optimized designing. Furthermore, “Corner-round type high density multi path heat exchanger” and “Sine-wave DC inverter control” of our original technology are adopted for outdoor unit. By these new features, the energy efficiency improved by about 20% compared with conventional models(*6) and industry's top(*1) energy-saving performance was realized.

Also, industry's smallest(*4) installation area was realized by reviewing the structure of outdoor unit together with the adoption of the corner-round type heat exchanger, saving the space by about 16% compared with conventional models(*6) and enhancing the installation efficiency.

Our company received “Gfk No.1 Award”(*7) in the Australian air conditioner market for the 5th consecutive year and will aim to further expand the sales by releasing air conditioners with high energy-saving performance in the field of large-size duct air conditioners as well.
