Strengthening Product Line-up of Energy-saving DC Inverter Multi Air Conditioners

New release of 6HP 8 room and 2HP 2 room inverter type multi air conditioners

We will start selling energy-saving 6 horse power (HP) 8 room and 2HP 2 room DC inverter type multi air conditioners adopting DC inverter control technology for overseas market starting with Europe in the middle of March and subsequently Asia, Australia and Middle East.
With this new release, together with 3HP 4 room inverter type multi air conditioner which is already in the market, our product line-up will be strengthened with range of 2 room, 4 room and 8 room inverter types to meet the users' needs ranging from personal houses to stores and offices.
As two or more indoor units can be connected with one outdoor unit allowing to save the space for installing outdoor units, multi air conditioners are often used for stores and offices in urban area in Europe where consideration for surrounding scenery needs to be taken. Also, the demand for home use is steadily expanding in overseas market as the number of households installing two or more air conditioners is increasing.

The demand for inverter type air conditioners is rapidly increasing not only in Japan but also in overseas markets as it has such excellent features as quick starting-up, energy saving, comfortable air conditioning. This trend is especially conspicuous in the matured market of Europe where penetration ratio of air conditioner already exceeded 20%. The expansion of demand is also expected in China and other Asian countries where economic growth is remarkable.

As high value added products to meet above needs, we intend to market " 6HP 8 room inverter type multi air conditioners " mainly aiming at the demand for luxurious houses, stores, offices and " 2HP 2 room inverter type multi air conditioners " mainly for personal houses in Europe, Asia, Australia and Middle East.
Both types of the new products are using alternative refrigerant R410A and pursuing high efficient operation by adopting DC inverter, enhanced energy saving and down-sizing of outdoor units as well as environmentally-friendly products.

The " 6HP 8 room inverter type multi air conditioners " realized the industry's top level^(*1) energy saving operation both in cooling and heating operations through the adoption of DC inverter control and scroll type compressor. Also, the industry's top level^(*1) of compactness and space saving of outdoor unit enhanced considerably the easiness of installation for buildings and houses. Furthermore, the efficiency of piping and wiring works has been considerably increased by the adoption of piping separation system and new transmission line wiring system of our own development. Up to 8 indoor units including ceiling cassette, ducted and wall-hung types can be connected.

The " 2HP 2 room inverter type multi air conditioners " accomplished the highest " Rank A " standard level in European Energy Labeling Scheme by the adoption of PAM control and DC twin rotary compressor. Also, outdoor units are designed aiming at compactness to excel in the installation for multiple dwelling houses and detached houses. The model line-up for indoor units will be strengthened by sequentially adding ceiling cassette, ducted and floor types to the wall-hung type developed this time.
