Expanding Product Line-up of Multi Air Conditioning System"AIRSTAGE™"
for Buildings for Overseas Market
New Release of Outdoor Models (4 models of 10-horse power)
and Peripheral Equipment

We have developed new series (4 models of 10HP outdoor unit and 2 types 6 models of indoor unit) of "AIRSTAGE™" multi air conditioning system for buildings for overseas market and start selling in October.

The "AIRSTAGE™" multi air conditioning system for buildings, which we introduced to the market in full scale last year, are highly valued in Europe, Asia and Oceania as an air conditioning system suitable for each type of cooling only, heat pump and heat recovery. Especially, the 3-compressor system of our own development has been favorably received as economical system suitable for market environment from the viewpoint of high efficiency, low noise and high reliability.

In the new series of "AIRSTAGE™" , we intended to expand the product line-up by developing cooling only model and heat pump model of 10 horse power incorporating new control system for outdoor unit in order to further respond to the needs of market.

With regards to new outdoor unit, adopting "target pressure balance control system" of our own technology, which provides the capacity required at the indoor unit side without loss, in addition to the 3-compressor system, the industry's most efficient ^*1 operation has been achieved. Furthermore, the improvement in economical and low noise operation has been realized in addition to the basic performance by adopting "operation mode switching function" which enables the selection of capacity priority mode, standard mode or energy saving mode according to the condition of heat load of the installation site, air flow structure for low noise operation and "silent mode function".

We have also considerably expanded the line-up of indoor units, 10 types 44 models in total, adding newly developed models incorporating the function of compact size ceiling cassette air conditioner of our own design and small capacity model range of wall-hung type, which will enable us to meet the needs of wide range of users corresponding to the various installation conditions.

We are further planning to develop and release various types of interface, as peripheral equipment, which are connectable with standard air conditioners, packaged air conditioners and building control system.

1. Adopting "3 compressor system" of our own development realizing industry's most efficient operation^*1
2. Adopting "target pressure balance control system" realizing high efficiency (Hi-COP).
3. Incorporating "Operation mode switching function" which enables the selection of capacity priority mode, standard mode, energy saving priority mode according to the heat load of the installation site.
4. Incorporating air flow structure realizing low noise operation and "silent mode function".
5. Abundant range of indoor models and peripheral equipment.

New combination of 3 compressors with different capacity assures smooth and efficient operation for the required capacity at the indoor unit side. Each compressor is so designed to prevent the breakdown of whole system by recovery operation even at the time of failure.

The "target pressure balance control system" is adopted, which detects the information of capacity (required refrigerant volume) required at the indoor unit side and the pressure of refrigerant gas inhaled into compressor and controls the corresponding operation of compressor.

By this system, the compressor operates efficiently, and the most efficient operation in the industry^*1 of COP3.11 for cooling and COP3.71 for heating is realized.

1. 10 types 44 models of indoor unit line-up
   

   - compact size ceiling cassette air conditioners 7,000 - 18,000 BTU (2.2 - 5.6kW) ceiling cassette air conditioners have been developed to meet increasing demand for air conditioners for building use. We have been selling compact cassette type models suitable for European ceiling size (60cm square) since last year which are well accepted and highly valued in the market. We have also developed new models with low noise feature as well as improvement on the easiness of installation to further meet the needs of market.

2. Strengthened peripheral equipment
   

   - Such optional controllers as wired remote controller with weekly timer function, simple remote controller of easy operation, wireless remote controller of handy type, central remote controller which can control up to 400 indoor units and PC controller for large scale property are available as remote controller for individual controlling

   - Various interfaces connectable with ordinary air conditioner, packaged air conditioner and building control system have been developed to be adopted for all air conditioning systems for building.
