Industry's first*1 3000/2300 ANSI lumens strengthening core
product line-up
(Simultaneous release LPF-A211/C211)

The liquid crystal projector market is growing recently, mainly centered
on the data projector, and its world-wide demand is estimated to reach
1.7 million sets this year.
The demand for portable type and mobile type in the core demand zone of
2,000 - 3,000 ANSI lumens is particularly expanding. Above all, the technology
of high brightness in mobile type projector is rapidly advancing, and
the brightness of 2,000 to 3,000 ANSI lumens, which was available only
in portable type in the past, has been achieved even in this type.
Under such market circumstances, we have developed the high class LPF-B211,
which achieves the brightness of the industry's first*1 3,000
ANSI lumens in the mobile type weighing below 5kg, and the economy type
LPF-B201 of 2,300 ANSI lumens.
Furthermore, we have enhanced the conventional models of portable and
mobile types, namely, simultaneously developed tow models of LPF-A211
and LPF-C211 realizing tope level of brightness in each class to strengthen
the product line-up to total 4 models.
Thus, we are now able to offer the products to meet the needs of various
users with the product range of 4 models having the brightness of 2,000,
2,300, 3,000 and 3,600 ANSI lumens.
We will start selling those 4 new models in domestic and overseas markets
from the end of June.
The new models LPF-B211/201 realize dynamic presentation with the achievement
of the industry's top level*1 of brightness of 3,000/2300 ANSI
lumens in mobile type projector weighing below 5kg by incorporating a
high aperture ratio liquid crystal panel of new 1.0 inch size and developing
a new optical engine. Thereby, a clear and sharp picture can be available
for the presentation with a large number of attendants such as more or
less 200 people. Also, those models are equipped with 5 picture adjustment
functions such as "Fine Mode" which is highly valued in "Plasmavision®" and "2-3 Pull-down" function making it possible to correspond
to variety of software contents and to provide high brightness and high
picture quality.
Furthermore, efficient presentations, meetings and seminars can be realized
by connecting the optional wireless LAN unit to be released simultaneously
to our data liquid crystal projector and connecting with two or more PCs
wirelessly.

with our previous models)
