New Release of 4 Room Cooling Only Inverter Multi Air Conditioners
and Large Wall mounted Inverter Air Conditioners

We will start selling new inverter air conditioners for overseas
market from October, i.e., "4 room cooling only inverter multi air
conditioners (4 indoor unit models and 1 outdoor unit model)" and
"large wall mounted inverter air conditioners (2 models)".
In recent years, due to the increasing needs for energy saving and
comfortable air conditioning, the demand for inverter air conditioners
suitable for each area is expanding.
In order to respond to such needs, we have developed, in addition
to the conventional line-up, 4 room cooling only inverter multi
air conditioners of 3HP type (32,400BTU/9.5kW) excelling in the
cost-performance for Southeast Asian market where cooling is always
required and large wall mounted inverter air conditioners of 2.5HP
type (24,200BTU/7.1kW) and 3HP type (27,300BTU/8.0kW) for world-wide
market.
As for the new product of 4 room cooling only inverter air conditioner,
the industry's highest efficiency*1 has been pursued
and maximum capacity of 38,000 BTU (11.2 kW) has been achieved with
3HP type by adopting high efficient DC twin rotary compressor and
improving inverter control circuit.
With regard to the large wall mounted inverter air conditioner,
maximum capacity of 27,300 BTU (8.0kW) has been realized and low
noise operation (32dB for indoor unit and 46dB for outdoor unit)
has been pursued by designing high efficiency operation with 2.5HP
type (AST24PBA).
Furthermore, the industry's first*2 3HP type (AST30PBA)
in the standard air conditioner category for overseas market has
been developed to expand the product range.
In those new products, the easiness of installation has been enhanced
by long piping connection and chargeless operation as well as by
adopting the industry's first*2 4-step switching function
(3-steps for 24,000BTU of large wall mounted inverter type) of maximum
operating current conforming to the regulations of power supply
capacity for residential use.

The high efficiency operation has been pursued by reducing inverter
noise through adoption of DC twin rotary compressor and improvement
of inverter control circuit. As for the 4 room cooling only inverter
air conditioner, the industry's highest efficiency*1
has been pursued and maximum capacity of 38,000 BTU (11.2 kW) has
been achieved with 3HP type.
With regard to the large wall mounted inverter air conditioner,
maximum capacity of 27,300 BTU (8.0kW) has been realized and low
noise operation (32dB for indoor unit and 46dB for outdoor unit)
has been pursued by designing high efficiency operation with 2.5HP
type (AST24PBA).
In those new models, the capacity is fully utilized by the design
to cool the inverter control circuit even at the time of overload
(in the area where outdoor temperature is high).

The regulations for power supply in various areas of the world have
been complied by adopting the industry's first*2 4-step
switching function of maximum operation current. Especially, in
the 4 room cooling only inverter multi type, the specified electric
current regulation (maximum 8.5A or 11A) for Singapore HDC (Housing
Corporation) has been complied.

- Independently driven power diffuser of our own technology
and up/down and right/left automatic air direction swing.
4 room cooling only inverter multi 18/24 type, Large wall mounted
inverter 24/30 type.
By adopting variable diffuser of our own technology and up/down
and right/left automatic air direction swing function, air flow
is directed vertically in heating operation and horizontally
in cooling operation so that air is circulated to every corner
of the room.
- Photoregenerative deodorizing titanium oxide filter
and Antibacterial air purifying WASABI filter.
(Optional for large wall mounted inverter type)
Air purifying effect has been considerably enhanced by adopting
triple filter combining Photoregenerative deodorizing titanium
oxide filter , Antibacterial air purifying WASABI filter and
Antibacterial deodorizing pre-filter.
- Auto restart function
The convenience of use in the area where power supply is unstable
has been improved by adopting auto restart function.
Even in the event of power failure, the set temperature and
operation mode are stored and automatically returned to the
same condition as before when the power supply is restored.

Corresponding to wide variety of needs of users by selecting
capacity from 4 indoor units.
Wide variety of needs of users for small room to wide living
room can be met by selecting capacity from 4 different type
of indoor units covering 2 rooms to 4 rooms.
- Feature of large wall mounted inverter air conditioner:
- Auto change over function
Cooling, dry, air flow, heating operation can be switched
automatically. Convenient function for the area where temperature
difference between day and night is big.
- Coping with low outdoor temperature
Can be operated even under the condition of low outdoor
temperature.
(Lowest outdoor temperature in cooling mode: 0°C, Lowest
outdoor temperature in heating mode: -10°C)
